Hiding and unhiding Groups

If a Group is still being used for reporting purposes, but is not used frequently, an Organisation Administrator can hide the Group so that it is no longer visible in the interface and Group dropdowns.

Note: If an Organisation Administrator hides an Educator Group, the Educator will not be able to see or unhide the Group.

To hide a Group, from the Groups tab:

  1. Select the Group using the checkbox next to the Group name.
  2. From the Maintain side menu on the right of the page, select Hide.
  3. You will be asked if you are sure that you wish to hide the selected Groups. Select OK to hide the Group and Cancel to leave the Group visible.
  4. If you select OK, a confirmation message is displayed once the Group is hidden.

Note: Hidden Groups can still be used for reporting purposes, but cannot have users added to them.

To unhide a Group, from the Groups tab:

  1. Search for the hidden Group by checking the Search hidden Groups checkbox when clicking on the Search icon. If no search text is entered, all hidden groups will be shown.
  2. Select the Group using the checkbox next to the Group name.
  3. From the Maintain side menu on the right of the page, select Unhide.
  4. You will be asked if you are sure that you wish to unhide the selected Groups. Select OK to unhide the Group and Cancel to leave the Group hidden.
  5. If you select OK, a confirmation message is displayed once the Group is unhidden.
